What Is CRM?

CRM stands for Customer Relationship Management. This is an integrated system of managing data which is used to schedule, plan, and control both the post-sale and the pre-sale activities engaged in by a marketing agent or an organization. CRM's objective is to improve long-term profits and growth of a company. Call center activity, field support, indirect and direct sales, and marketing efforts are all covered by CRM.

It is believed that CRM systems provide more accurate feedback and better-focused data concerning the aforementioned areas.

The first component of CRM that was ever made available was SFA, or "sales force automation". Automated field service, call center activity, and SFA were all running down parallel tracks during most of the 1990s and late in that decade all of those began to merge with marketing plans to finally coalesce into CRM.

So. CRM is actually not a technology and not something tangible at all. During the dot-com era, many people began to think of CRM as a technology in its own right. There are those who have implemented CRM technology just because they are technophiles or think that any new technology can in and of itself increase their business' profits. But CRM technology is not about that. Too many businesses start using CRM technology without the slightest idea of how it is supposed to be used, or what the true CRM principles are. This is nothing other than putting the cart before the horse.

CRM is supposed to reflect your methodology of doing sales and marketing and customer service, supported by data and by the interpersonal relationship that you have with each individual customer that does business with you. CRM technology enables a front line person, a sales or marketing agent or a customer service rep, to instantly access all of the most relevant and important data about a client when that client contacts you, and use that data to give a personalized, relevant, and up-to-date response to the client. CRM technology implementation lets you have smooth transitions between stages of a client's relationship with you both in terms of projects and in terms of the client's own activity. At the same time, you keep very detailed and accurate notes about every contact with a client.

The Ins and Outs of Myspace Unravelled

Twice as many members as Ebay and it is said that a quarter million new accounts are created each and every day. MySpace was originally created for garage bands as a way to network with other bands but this changed quickly as there are now over 10,000 groups each which would cater to a different Genre. I have seen a lot of books out there about this Social Networking phenomenon but most of them are guides for the parents of MySpacers and how they can protect their children. With as many members as there are I am still shocked at the so few of books for this at the local bookstore.

Internet marketers are always looking for new ways in which they can target certain groups to try and sell something to. With MySpace this targeting has become much more refined and possible. Every guru out there has this special report on making money with MySpace but the majority of them only tell you how to get maybe 50 new friends each day and if you are trying to build up a network of several thousand this will command a great deal of your little free time that you have.

You can buy a MySpace identity on Ebay with 10,000+ friends for like $100+ but you have to be careful with buying these identifies because a lot of them are junk ids that were just created so that someone could sell them. The best ones to look for are the sellers on Ebay who are selling off a personal identity on MySpace. An Identity with a lot of friends that they kept in touch with at least weekly. You could then purchase this ID and start posting messages to your group of friends. After you have resumed the chatter with everybody you could put an affiliate link in your message which is going out to over 10k friends. Imagine the money you could make from this.

Most of these low cost MySpace marketing reports do have some great information but the problem that I found was that they only each tell you a few things and then you have to buy a more expensive product to find out everything else.. I did come across a new Ebook lately that gives you everything you could possible ever need to know. The author does have some software tools that he has created but his book will show you how to do the same marketing even without the automated software.

There are a lot of software products for people who wish to make money with MySpace but most of them only perform one task. There are no suites that I have found that would keep you from having to have all these separate applications running. The author of this book that I just told you about is actually having a software suite for MySpace marketing specially built which he tells me should be done in the not so distant near future. He is calling his book the MySpaceJobKiller and I have to tell you that I picked up on a lot of great information to help accelerate my own MySpace marketing,

Most of the marketing guides that are out there today tell you how to get a lot of friends by joining several groups with large memberships but this guy, Jake, tells you how to get a lot of friends in other ways. He got almost a 1,000 friend requests in less than 24 hours without joining a group or by spamming anybody. Jake tells you about all these little tricks plus he gives you some great coding for you to use. Jake even gives you a lot of great resource links to other sites where you can get a lot of great things for your MySpace profiles.

Of all the reports, books, and courses I've seen out there none of them are so detailed and cost less than 10 dollars like this one does. I give this book 5 stars. if you want to see Jakes book then all you have to do is add the com ending to MySpaceJobKiller.
